Haskel Sears’ design and production choices (what we make and how we make it) are based upon green principles, progressive design and sustainable development. Simply put, Matt deeply believes that wasting wood is a serious wrong.
So he uses reclaimed woods, sourced regionally. His lumber ranges from tear-down projects to wood milled years ago, from salvage finds to commercial waste. Some of the wood has additional character from its first use, including scars and marks from nails and fasteners; other pieces are as untouched as the day they were cut.
Every piece is unique and beautiful in its textures, colors, and shadings. Perfect for modern and traditional furniture, cabinetry and objets d’art: contemporary heirlooms to serve, inspire and inform a new generation of wood lovers and stewards.
Superior quality wood reclaimed from old buildings and commercial waste is used to create pieces that are beautiful, durable, and can contribute to LEED credits.
