Matt Sears founded Haskel Sears Design in Chattanooga, in 2005. Building upon a decade of experience in wood craft and design, every Haskel Sears piece is constructed around the nature and possibilities of wood.

Leading contemporary craft with a passion for the product, each custom design unites substance and style, creating pieces that connect with their owners at both functional and emotional levels.

A core value of sustaining the environment leads Matt to build with reclaimed lumber, environmentally sensitive adhesives and finishes, and smarter use and reuse of resources. He is an active member of Chattanooga’s green community.
